Circulation is one of Aotearoa's best-kept secrets: a music, workshop and circus performance festival just 20 minutes drive from Dunedin at the incredible Whare Flat/Waiora Scout Camp.

Join us in a celebration of circus, community and freedom. Everywhere you turn is an opportunity to get inspired, learn, and hone your skills. Circulation has a strong community focus and boasts a child friendly environment.

Each day is bursting with workshops.
Our workshops cater from beginners through to intermediate and advanced. Try your hand at circus, object manipulations, fire and flow arts, dance, yoga, cabaret, busking, music, spoken word, and many more. If the dozens of scheduled workshops each day don’t spark your curiosity then keep your eyes peeled for spontaneous renegade workshops, skills shares, and jams from our generous community.

Each night is a riot of live music and performances.
Circulation opens with a gala showcase featuring some of Aotearoa's top circus talent, and closes with our incredible, unpredictable, and internationally infamous renegade show. Between the two you’ll find a kaleidoscope of live performance. DJs, aerialists, jugglers, fire spinners, acrobats, live music and countless surprises populate each evening.
The fire spinning circle is also open every night and anyone (after attending a fire safety briefing) is welcome to have a burn.

*Location*
Waiora Scout Camp / Whare Flat
450 Silverstream Valley Road, Halfway Bush, North Taieri

The Waiora Scout Camp provides one of the most beautiful festival spots in the country with plenty of space to camp, explore, play, or get cosy. Tucked in the Silverstream valley, we’re surrounded by lush bush, and between DJs you might hear tauhou, tūī, and korimako.
We’re lucky to be manuhiri here, and Circulation aims to be good kaitiaki. To that end there is no glass allowed on site. Please join us by being mindful of your waste, and taking everything with you when you leave.

*Food*
Kai is the heart of the community. Bring a plate and join us for our traditional potluck dinner Thursday evening, and on Sunday night join us for the free Hāngī. Available to everyone - yes, even the vegans.
We are happy to announce we will have food tickets available once again, providing ticket holders with delicious and nutritious meals. Meal tickets cover breakfast, lunch and dinner from Friday till Monday. Our menu is vegan-friendly, with vegetarian and meat options available.
If you decide not to buy a food ticket, we encourage you to bring in your own food and cooking equipment. Our (cash-only) cafe will also be open each day for tasty treats and hot caffeine.

*Accommodation*
Camping space is free and plentiful. There are limited bunk rooms with four beds available in the main hall email xanthe@circulation.co.nz to enquire. Book one with your friends and make sure you’re first to breakfast each day..
