Fergus Aitken

In his fourth decade as a comedian, mime, actor, physical theatre performer and tutor, Fergus has played at almost every kind of event, in over a dozen countries since 1984. On stage in Moscow and London, in the streets of Europe and Australasia, as a mannequin in Madame Tussaud's... Fergus has performed for TV commercials, as gust juggler with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and even received standing ovations at nudist festivals.

After an 'unusual and challenging year', Fergus is really looking forward to returning to serenity and connection with the people and the trees, at Circulation 2020. In addition to hosting the Performer's Showcase, he's hosting three workshops. Playfulness and Presence will prepare performers for connection with their audience. Physical Theatre & Mime sessions are for anyone wanting to upskill their grip on imaginary objects, explore spontaneity, observe their own breath, balance and body tension and smooth out slow-motion play.
